Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how InvFlash (“InvFlash,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use our mobile application (“App”) and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
1. Who We Are & Scope
InvFlash is a productivity application for creating and managing invoices, estimates, receipts, and related business documents. This policy applies to information processed through the App (including optional features such as account sign-in, cloud sync, analytics, subscriptions, and advertising).
If you access the Services through an organization (for example, a company account), that organization’s policies may also apply.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information in the following categories, depending on how you use the Services.
2.1 Information collected automatically
- Device & app technical data — such as device type, operating system version, app version, language/locale settings, and diagnostic information related to app stability or performance.
- Usage analytics — event data such as screens viewed and feature usage, collected in aggregated or pseudonymous form through our analytics tools (see Advertising & Analytics).
- Identifiers used for advertising & measurement (where applicable) — advertising partners may collect or use device advertising identifiers and similar technologies subject to platform settings and applicable law (including Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework, where required).
2.2 Information we do not intentionally collect
- We do not require you to provide full payment card numbers or bank account credentials inside the App for invoice creation. In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple (and related payment partners), not by us directly.
- We do not intend to collect sensitive categories of data (such as health data) through the App.
2.3 Local storage, iCloud, and optional cloud backups
- On-device storage — much of your operational data (for example, invoices, customers, estimates, templates, and preferences) is stored locally on your device using Apple’s standard on-device storage mechanisms.
- Optional iCloud Key-Value storage — if you enable iCloud sync, selected app data may sync between your devices using Apple’s iCloud (NSUbiquitousKeyValueStore). That processing is subject to Apple’s terms and privacy policy.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Services (including document generation, previews, export/sharing, templates, and optional sync).
- Create and manage accounts, authenticate users, secure the Services, detect fraud or abuse, and troubleshoot errors.
- Process subscription eligibility and entitlements, including communicating with Apple and our subscription SDK provider.
- Deliver and measure advertising for eligible users, where permitted.
- Analyze product usage to understand feature adoption and improve user experience.
- Provide customer support and respond to inquiries.
- Comply with law, enforce our terms, and protect rights, safety, and security.
We do not sell your personal information for money. We also do not rent lists of personal contact data to third parties
4. How We Share Information
We may disclose information to:
- Service providers & processors who assist us with hosting, authentication, databases, storage, analytics, subscription management, advertising, customer support, and security operations, subject to appropriate contractual terms.
- Apple — for App Store purchases, subscriptions, Sign in with Apple (if used), and iCloud services (if enabled).
- Professional advisers — such as lawyers or auditors, where necessary.
- Authorities — if required to comply with law, legal process, or governmental requests, or to protect rights, privacy, safety, or property.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to safeguards as required by law.
We may share aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you.
5. Third-Party Services & Links
The Services integrate with third-party technologies, including, depending on your use and configuration:
- Google Firebase (for example, Analytics, Remote Config) — Firebase Privacy Information
- RevenueCat (subscription infrastructure) — RevenueCat Privacy Policy
- Google AdMob (advertising for eligible users) — Google Privacy Policy; AdMob policies
- Apple services (App Store, iCloud, Sign in with Apple) — Apple Privacy Policy
Third-party sites or services linked from the App are governed by their own policies. We are not responsible for their practices.
6. Advertising & Analytics
We may use analytics tools (such as Firebase Analytics) to collect event and device-related data to understand how the Services are used.
We may display advertisements through Google AdMob or similar networks for users who are not entitled to an ad-free experience. Ad partners may use cookies or mobile advertising IDs and may personalize ads based on information collected over time and across apps/websites, subject to your device settings and applicable law.
You can limit ad tracking on iOS through Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking and reset or limit the advertising identifier through Apple’s settings. You may also see in-app or system prompts related to tracking.
7. Retention
- On-device data remains until you delete it within the App, remove the App, or erase your device, subject to your backups.
- iCloud data persists according to your iCloud settings and Apple’s policies.
- Account & cloud records are retained as needed to provide the Services, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may request deletion as described below, subject to legal exceptions.
- Analytics logs are retained according to the retention settings and policies of our analytics providers.
8. Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration. These measures may include encryption for certain data at rest or in transit, access controls, and secure development practices.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device, Apple ID, and account credentials.
9. Your Privacy Rights & Choices
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to:
- Access, correct, or update your information.
- Delete certain information, or request restriction or objection to processing.
- Port information to another service, where technically feasible.
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
You can manage much of your information directly in the App (including deleting local data and toggling optional features). For account-related requests, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your request before responding.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy in the App or on our website and update the “Last updated” date. If changes are material, we will provide additional notice as required by law.
